Well done Waterford CoCo and the Loop walks of Ireland, you can now safely cross the Nire River high up the valley. Crossing the Nire was always a problem, it's a fast little river and the stones are slippery to cross. Now this new bridge has made it so much safer and best of all it is high enough above the water level that flooding will not wash it away.  This is part of the 4 new loops added to the Irish  Loop Walks they will be the highest in Ireland. They are not officially up on the web site but keep your eyes open. PS there is more news coming in May.
